hello ontour-blog-followers and friends,
we had a good evening and night yesterday after that long ride to Göttingen /close to Kassel.
It was already dark once we arrived - girl AND boys were starving. The quiet evening and the good sleep got us energy for another successful meeting.
We arrived in the morning in Melsungen. Our partner Möller and Menke is located in the heart of the town. We couldn't believe it so we drove two times around the town. Appearently they were already able to hear our Bulli. Mirko Jaissle and one of an existing SAP Business One and coresuite customer expected us in the presentation room. It was interesting how they actually use coresuite mobile CRM in such a big and also international company. Not only the CEO is excited about the product, but also the charming employee who is working in the area of Düsseldorf. Her job is to visit customers such as pharmacies, doctors and hospital and report those acticities with coresuite mobile on the iPhone. One requierement was additional to have individual reports on the iPhone for each employee. No probolem for Philipp: with a little proof of concept he showed how this works also how it is displayed on the iPhone App.
Some customize rules combined with the print layout of coresuite designer showed another evidence that coresuite country package is very powerful. Also coresuite cube could be interesting for this customer, due to the fact that reporting has never been easier. With a demo license he is looking forward to test it on his own database.
Punctually at 12 we experienced some interesting performance of a puppet (Schleifi) out of the townhouse-building. If you don't get it, don't worry ;-) After some usual pictures and presents we continued our tour in direction Göttingen, Hannover and hopefully at the end of the day to Hamburg. The first pit-stop was not as usual. We met this guy Jona who was not a normal tramper - he is actually a craft-man who experienced the ritual to travel around for three years and one day. "Are you going to Hamburg, can I come with you?" he asked. Of course we agreed and asked him a lot of question about his life during the ride.
Few kilometers later we had problems with the engine. It stopped all the time! "That's the same what we experienced in France 10km before the Bulli broke down" Rafi said. OhOh! In the internet we searched for the next VW Garage. As soon as we arrived there it look the problem has been solved suddenly. The quick-fix certainly helped us and we were able to drive along again. Still 300 km to go. Beginning of Hamburg we dropped off our friend and wished him good luck for the upcoming travels.
Few minutes later we finally arrived where we were expected for more than 3 hours ago: SAP Stammtische. Christian Ecks from SAP already told the partners that we had some difficulties (again), so everybody was happy to see that the Bullibande of Coresystems reached Hamburg (although a little delayed). Nevertheless, I was also excited to see some partners, which I haven't met in person or which I just haven't seen for a long time. With Infinitas, Unirez, Komsa System, C+P, OSC, deResearch, Gesodata, SAP and of course a lot more we had a very nice dinner and one or two beers. The evening ended in the nice cocktail bar on the 12th floor of our hotel. We had a lot of fun, especially with the waiter who understood instead of "i love the cloud" - "einer hat geklaut" (someone has stolen something).
So as you see, we still have a lot of fun.
Stay tuned on our blog
Cheers
Mila
